Activities

In November 2010 the Comasina district police station was opened. It comprises a building of five stories above ground and a basement, and contains offices, living quarters, guest rooms and technical premises. The building is fenced and includes two car parks within the station precincts, one being below street level.

Construction of this building is part of the agreement between MM and the City of Milan signed in 1993 with the aim of building new facilities for the forces of law and order. To date seven police stations have been built (Gallaratese, Romana , Lambrate , Mecenate, Quarto Oggiaro, Lorenteggio, Villa San Giovanni) and three Carabinieri stations (Barona, Gratosoglio and S. Cristoforo).
