Code of ethics

In its daily work MM Spa strives to build up on sound reputation, honesty and fairness.

This aim has been built into a fundamental Company document, the Code of Ethics, in terms of which MM committed itself to:

  • pursue the goals of efficiency and effectiveness that valorise its civil systems, networks and experience assets;
  • create synergy by optimizing the available resources to achieve the best value for money, ensuring growth and development margins;
  • combine its capacity of positive response to the market expectations and aiming to providing adequate feedback to consumers’ and clients’ demands, thus assuring continuous and safe offered services, in full respect of the environment.

The principles behind all MM operations in pursuing its mission include rigorous observance of the law, fair competition and respect of the legitimate interests of its clients, suppliers, employees and shareholders beside those of institutions and society as a whole.

Area of application

The Code of Ethics is a combination of values, principles, and behavioural guidelines to which managers and employees at MM must conform during their respective working activities. Everybody setting up contacts or working directly or indirectly for the Company interests, either permanently or temporarily, must also comply with the Code. The values and principles in the Code of Ethics inspire the members of the Board of Directors and the College of Auditors. The goals set by the Code of Ethics include fairness and economic efficiency both in its in-house relations (directors, management and employees) and outside the Company (companies, clientele and market) so as to promote unequivocal behavioural guidelines, which bring about economic benefits deriving from the Company’s positive reputation.

Moral values

All actions and conduct in general carried out and applied by employees in relation to the activities they engage in as part of their specific duties and responsibilities, must be marked by maximum fairness, transparency, legitimacy and clarity. All the Company’s activities must be carried out with the greatest diligence, honesty, loyalty and professionalism, in compliance with laws, procedures, and Company regulations and in conformity to the Code of Ethics.
