Since 2011, MM has established and maintain an Energy Management System in relation to water services in accordance with the UNI CEI EN ISO 50001, in line with the objectives and environmental and energy goals, comparable to the best European standards , giving evidence of its commitment to energy conservation and environmental protection.
The application of the management system for energy is based on energy audits which are analyzed in detail the consumption, identifying areas of possible improvement through specific assessments of cost-effectiveness, and the planning of interventions useful.
MM has identified the basic principle upon which the "Energy Policy" or the commitment to reduce consumption and waste, improving energy efficiency of the industrial business processes through continuous research of new methods of production, supply and energy management and related natural resources, contributing to the growth of the awareness of all actors involved about the rational use of the same.
