Metropolitana Milanese is the leader of temporary association of six companies entrusted with executive design of the high-speed Milan-Verona section on the Turin-Milan-Venice line. The length of the section is about 160 km (100 miles) including the interconnections of Brescia East, Brescia West and Verona West. In particular, the design includes: verification of the preliminary design; study and definition of the plano-altimetric lay-out; the cross-sections with design of the support works for water removal; the hydraulic systems and verifications for dimensioning of the main works; additional topographical surveys; design of minor works and protective and support works; design of works to eliminate interference with existing and future roads; identification and resolution of interference with public services; design of track equipment; metric calculations.
