Activities
These concern the construction of public housing in the southern part of the Municipality of Milan, to the east of Via dei Missaglia and to the south of Via Sant’Abbondio. The available area was about 13,750 m². The publicly funded project provided for the construction of 220 apartments and a day nursery (Project A2R). The complex is made up of square tower blocks of about 20 m (66 ft) on each side, rising to 11 floors above ground and a linear 6-story building with a footprint of approximately 80 x 13 m (262 x 43 ft).
The buildings are located within a fenced green area, with pedestrian paths and benches. A stretch of metalled road within the estate connects the road system with the car park via ramps. Project A3R of approximately 7980 m2, provides for construction of the same buildings as for Project A2R plus a linear 6-story building with a rectangular footprint of approximately 80 x 13 m, with a total of 68 apartments.
