At the request of the Province, Metropolitana Milanese has helped to formalize the request for funding the operational section of the dedicated guided transport system for the connections from Bergamo to Val Seriana and Val Brembana. In 2003, Tranvie Elettriche Bergamasche entrusted Metropolitana Milanese with the activities of Works Management and site security. In 2009, the line was inaugurated and started operations. Final technical and administrative adjustments are currently in progress.
