The Milan depots
The depots are the structures for sheltering and maintaining trains. They include a workshop, a carriage shed, a washing tunnel and an office area, plus an electrical substation, boiler, a store for potentially hazardous materials, a storage tank, sewage treatment tank, industrial water treatment tank, firefighting water tank, and a watchman’s hut. The Precotto and Rogoredo depots also have a carriage testing track.
