Brief description
The Milan Nosedo outlet sewer between the Nosedo purifier intake and the terminal section of Via San Dionigi is currently uncovered, causing sanitary health problems. It is therefore necessary to reorganize and cover this stretch of the sewerage system. The affected section is about 300 m (984 ft) long and is divided into two shafts, one 10.5 m (34 ft) wide and the other 8.05 m (26 ft) wide. Between these two shafts is a variable width transition section. The project also provides for surface restoration, in accordance with the Vettabbia Park Project, and construction of a 5-metre road traffic bridge over the Vettabbia canal, with cycle tracks. During the restructuring works, the water flow will be temporarily diverted into a purpose-built water channel.
