The LRT is the southern extension of tram line 24, currently terminating at Selvanesco. It increases the range of transport services along a major road entering the City. In addition to reducing vehicular traffic and providing more suburban points of interchange, it serves the IEO (European Institute of Oncology) on Via Ripamonti. The LRT will stops: ist. Oncologico, Quinto Sole Nord, Quinto Sole Carceri, Novaresco, Opera Nord, Crociano opera Sud, Locate Triulzi SFR. The LRT will an interchange with the Line 3 in Crocetta station.
