Activities
The current railway overpass at Via Breda is too small to accommodate both vehicle traffic and pedestrian and cycle traffic on the same roadway. At the request of the City of Milan, Metropolitana Milanese has developed the final design for a new pedestrian and cycle bridge alongside the existing overpass. The project comprises a bridge with two metal spans of 76 m (249 ft) each, and is supplemented by an additional bridge along the Via De Marchi which completes the cycle and pedestrian route connecting Via Melchiorre Gioia to the Bicocca university campus area.
