Activities

The 92 trolley-bus line is one of the most important public transport routes in the City: with its two terminuses - Bovisa FN and Viale Isonzo – it creates a direct link in eastern Milan between the north and south of the City. The length of the line is about 11 km (6.9 miles) and it is operated with 29 vehicles in the rush hour. During the other 19 hours of operation, 340 journeys are made. The present project is intended to create a reserved lane for the no. 92 trolley-bus from Viale Abruzzi (at the corner of Via Piccinni) to Piazza Cappelli. Creation of the reserved lane will improve service regularity. The total length of the project is approximately 2.5 km (1.6 miles). The lane will be built within the existing central reservation currently used for parking. So far the final and executive designs have been prepared and the invitation to tender issued by the main contractor. The final design for the section Cappelli – Tertullian has also been completed.
