The project is part of a wider plan to reorganize the queuing area of the Paullese trunk road into Milan. Metropolitana Milanese, at the request of the City of Milan, has produced the final and executive designs and is currently carrying out the associated works management. Lot 4, in addition to contributing to the overall plan relating to the SS 415 trunk road, solves local highway problems by connecting Via Varsavia and Via Sulmona to the railway line through a new road underpass. The project includes construction of a new cycle and pedestrian overpass to the Parco Alessandrini, which will soon be enlarged; it also provides for construction of a new route for the Eastern Extension main sewer, one of the largest in the City.
